Chris Dowse is the founder of Neochange, a consulting firm focused on increasing user metabolismtm to power business success.
Chris started his career at KPMG Peat Marwick in Sydney, Australia. Later at a global resources conglomerate, Chris was assigned to investigate lackluster returns of $20BN in capital investments. This led to 3 years of globetrotting, from the Atacama Desert in Chile to Papua New Guinea’s Star Mountains to the Arctic Circle. Not an obvious journey of information-technology enlightenment, but this intense examination of under-performing investments is where Chris discovered his passion: the dysfunctional synergy between people and technology.
Since founding Neochange in 2000, Chris has consulted with industry leaders to transform user services. Working with both consumers (Wells Fargo, McKesson, DirecTV & Cisco) and providers (CA, Oracle, Salesforce.com, Symantec, VMware) of enterprise software, the firm’s efforts have impacted over 2 million end-users.
One of Chris’s strengths involves leading and enabling the conversations necessary to deliver on technology’s promise. As such, he is an advisor to the Technology Services Industry Association and his adoption insights are regularly cited by channels such as CIO Insight & Sandhill.com. Chris is also the co-inventor of Neochange’s patent-pending user metabolismTM algorithms which create actionable insight into the consumption and value of enterprise software.
Chris currently lives with his wife and two sons in Marin County, California.
